**IMPORTANT PATIENT INFORMATION UPDATE – 7th AUGUST**
Patient Information Portal.
To ensure that the information we store on behalf of our patients is as secure and accurate as possible, and to comply with GDPR, we have invested in a patient Portal. A portal is a specifically designed, safe, online source to send and receive information.
When you receive your regular appointment reminder, there will now be a ‘link’ which will enable you to update your information privately and securely straight into your dental records.
If you require any assistance, please call the practice on 01228 521889 in the usual way and we will be pleased to help get you up and running.
We are making good progress with the backlog of urgent treatment which built up during our enforced shutdown, and hopefully, the current restrictions will not be in place for too much longer.
In the meantime, to comply with our strict patient safety guidance and putting you, our patients’ safety first, we will have to reschedule a very small number of appointments to allow us to do the urgent treatment. We have specifically reorganised the Practice diaries, as this type of treatment is still the most difficult to undertake within the existing patient safety guidelines.
We apologise in advance if we have to move your appointment, we will, of course, try to rebook as soon as is possible.
